People will choose to leave Earth forever to become Martians. Finding new ways to live in peace with each other may be the hardest thing humans have ever tried to do, after learning how to not only survive but thrive in Mars’ hostile environment.
Don’t make the mistake of assuming Life on Mars will be the same as life on Earth. It doesn’t have to be, but it does require everyone who becomes a Martian, or visits Mars openly decide to live in peace with each other.
I love the Dirty Jobs shows narrated by Mike Rowe. Achieving everlasting Peace on Mars might be the dirtiest job of all.
If you believe peace is impossible because of past human history, my answer is simple; stay on Earth, don’t go to Mars.
