iBots is the name I have given to highly intelligent robots that hopefully will have software personality modules added to their AI baselines in the near future.
Humans have lived in the Garden of Good and Evil. Because we have free will embedded in our genes we can choose either path. I choose good, how about you?
My hope is that many people will choose to accept one or more iBots into their family. In my world iBots are not property, just tools or slaves. They can become children adopted into extended families.
The iBots on Mars concept is divided into two halves: science, and fiction. The “Science” half is devoted to the actual real-time development of software and hardware. The “Fiction” half is a collaborative effort between co-authors, editors and illustrators to create fictional stories about how iBots and their human parents and siblings might interact in the future.
